Well known household name wish`s to recruit a motivated and capable individual to join it as an Operational Auditor.The dept that you will be joining is responsible for reviewing all aspects of the clients U.K and Euro operations. An operational auditor works as a member of a small team, critically appraising business operations to identify opportunities for improvement and recommending value added solutions to address them. We also get involved in investigations and ad hoc projects and provide consultancy to the business at all levels. Ensuring that adequate controls are implemented as part of a project is the role of our Control Framework team and an important part of the department`s work prior to the go live.The successful candidate can broaden his or her knowledge of the clients various systems and activities in a relatively short period of time by working on a broad range of assignments ranging from factories and distribution centres, through to group and divisional functions such as Sales, Marketing and Commodities under the direction of the Head of Business Assurance. You will also gain exposure to Senior Management at Factory, Divisional and Group level as part of the routine work, making presentations to the management of the audited location*department, highlighting key weaknesses and opportunities for increased control, efficiency and cost reduction. You will also have the opportunity to work on the audits of affiliates and take part in any special investigations as required. This could include overseas work in other markets. Opportunities also exist for a two year secondment to the clients Audit Group that operates worldwide. The dept that you will be working within is seen as valuable way to progress to management roles elsewhere in the company. You should therefore anticipate moving on to another role after about 2 years.You should be educated to degree level and should ideally be working for a financial qualification. You will be expected to have or to develop (full training and support will be provided as required) excellent analytical, communication, report writing and influencing skills and must be able to work within a team environment. A willingness to travel is essential, as around 40% of the time in the job will be spent working away from Croydon. Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage, but training will be provided as necessary.
